Outdoor Furniture Project Quote & Budget Planning

An outdoor furniture quotation should let the buyer compare a complete project scope, not only item prices. Check each zone, configuration, approval step, packing and destination responsibility in the same structure. Any amount, timing, trade term, warranty or installation commitment must be confirmed in the project-specific quotation and contract.

Request a project-specific outdoor furniture quotation

Build the price comparison from the same item schedule

Give each furniture group a stable item tag linked to the current drawing. The quotation should identify the proposed model or project reference, configuration, dimensions, material and finish, included cushions or accessories, quantity, unit basis and total basis. If one supplier proposes an alternative, show it as an alternative rather than replacing the requirement silently.

Compare like with like: the same zones, quantities, sample expectations, evidence requirements, packing assumptions, destination and target programme. A lower item total may reflect omitted cushions, hardware, testing, samples, packaging, transport, installation or handover responsibility.

Use an included, excluded and pending matrix

Scope item Included Excluded Pending confirmation
Furniture and accessories Named items, quantities and listed components priced in the quotation. Any category, loose item or accessory expressly left outside the offer. Alternatives, final dimensions, finishes or interfaces awaiting selection.
Samples and approvals Specific sample types, approved quantity, submission or freight expressly included. Mock-ups, additional revisions or third-party review not priced. Approval route, sample return, change cost and schedule effect.
Evidence and documents Drawings, material information, reports or certificates named with the offer. Testing or destination submissions outside the stated scope. Version, applicable configuration or authority requirement still being checked.
Packing and transport Named packing method, transport leg and destination point stated by the agreed trade term. Unpriced storage, handling, customs, duties, taxes or onward transport. Final shipment volume, access, route, insurance or destination charges.
Installation and handover Only the site services, assembly, placement, inspection or documents expressly listed. Building work, services and adjacent equipment outside the furniture scope. Site readiness, labour, supervision, travel, permits, programme and acceptance method.
Spares and later supply Named spare components or agreed extra quantities included now. Future stock, indefinite matching or unpriced replacements. Batch, color variation, replaceable parts, future availability and responsible party.

Apply the current B2B reference conditions carefully

GEORGE Group’s current reference position for this site has no minimum item count, while the minimum order value is USD 18,000. The project-specific quotation should state how the order value is calculated across the reviewed scope. Having no minimum item count does not remove the order-value threshold, and every included item still needs its availability and configuration recorded.

As planning references, enquiries are usually answered within 48 hours, a quotation is usually prepared within five working days when the required information is available, and a quotation is usually valid for 30 days. These are conditional B2B working references. The actual response, quotation timing and validity must be stated for the specific project, especially when drawings, samples, engineering review, destination information or supplier confirmation are incomplete.

A five-year warranty is also a project reference point. The quotation or contract states the applicable products, covered defects, exclusions, care duties, start point, remedy and claim documents for the selected configuration and destination.

Compare destination and installation responsibilities

For commercial projects, CIF terms may be discussed; for residential projects, DDP terms may be discussed. The actual trade term, named place, transport stages, customs, duties, taxes, unloading, storage and onward movement must be confirmed for the project. A three-letter trade term does not replace a written responsibility list.

GEORGE Group can discuss site installation as a separately charged project service. The quotation should state whether the scope includes supervision, assembly, placement, fixing, protection, waste removal, inspection or handover, together with site readiness, access, working hours, travel and local responsibility. Adjacent construction, services and equipment are outside the furniture scope unless expressly included.

Check the budget beyond the initial furniture total

  • Samples, mock-ups, revisions and any additional tests or destination documents.
  • Packing method, shipment volume, transport, insurance and destination handling.
  • Customs, duties, taxes and local charges allocated by the agreed term.
  • Storage, lifting, access constraints, site labour, installation and protection.
  • Furniture covers, cushion storage, care equipment and operating labour.
  • Approved spares, later replacement and the risk of batch or finish variation.
  • Programme effects caused by late information, approval changes or site readiness.

Send the information needed for a comparable quotation

Provide the current zone and item schedule, plans, quantities, required configurations, material and finish direction, exposure, destination, site access, target dates, sample and evidence requirements, preferred trade-term discussion and installation expectations. Identify fixed requirements, acceptable alternatives and open decisions.

Prepare the technical input with the specification checklist, manage physical decisions through samples and approvals, and use delivery and handover to define post-approval responsibilities.

Open the project enquiry form with the current schedule, destination and comparison requirements. Final price, terms and programme will depend on the reviewed project scope.
